Local Bookshops

Waterstones

1 - 3, Cornmill Centre, Darlington DL1 1LS, UK – 01325 465666

I have always loved Waterstones book shops and make a beeline for one whenever I am out shopping. Your staff are always very helpful and friendly but I must say that yesterday I visited your store and spoke to a gentleman about the types of books I needed. It was so refreshing to be able to speak to somebody who was so knowledgeable about the type of books I need. He was able to offer advice and was very understanding about the needs of the children and families I work with. I'll definitely be back.

Good selection of books and goods. Also a great cafe upstairs.

A very nice little shop in Darlington with an amazing amount of back issues. I scored some perfect twenty-year old issues. Of course there are also new comics. The owner is an extremely nice chap who is not only interested in comics but in its buyers as well. Had a very nice chat this morning and my wife and I left the shop satisfied with a box full of gems.

A very friendly place, knowledgeable, plenty of comic books to flick through, a small amount of memorabilia. If there is anything specifically for your collection he will try to order especially anything new. Brill 😁👍👌
