Although the actual building looks small it is actually very spacious. The audio quality in screen 1 is okay but there is a lot of reverberation. Screen 2 and 3 don't have this issue. All the staff are friendly and the prices are absolutely fantastic. It's only £3 A ticket and premier seating is just £4. I would definitely suggest going here for seeing a film. For some reason the cinema is not very popular especially now the Vue has opened just 10 minutes up the road. But because of this, you can expect almost every visit to be fairly quiet, as in not many people there. It's lovely and if you come to Darlington, visit the first cinema we had.
Went to the cinema on Sunday, for the 10.45am showing. Staff where helpful at the desk to purchase tickets & food. Ticket price was really good at £3 each. Thought the slush for a medium size, rather pricey £4.25. The cinema hall was extremely cold, had to take my coat off to give to granddaughter's to wrap over themselves to keep warm.

It's easy to buy tickets online and at the counter, the staff are helpful and friendly. Most importantly, the picture and sound quality is exceptional, particularly because the rooms are so dark that there is a really immersive viewing experience. Paying with card or phone is no problem; the only issue you may have is a relative lack of nearby parking because there isn't a designated car park.
Great staff and friendly attitude. Cleanliness is right up there and very rarely see any rubbish. Wish there were more seating areas in the lobby but by far best cinema in co. Durham

Had a lovely night in the majestic theatre part watching a show the other week. Very helpful staff. Service was great!
Completely blown away from all the hard work the collage teenage aspiring actors have put into there performance. They engaged the audience and enthralled the children to no end. There were times when the music / back ground sound needed to be a little more subtle so the performing artists could throw there voices better how ever this did not let down the performance. Please please please support this show and the teenagers involved. They are local kids doing a local show and the producers and owners of the theater are doing a dammed fine job. Well done. This reminds me of a late centenary theater that we all should go to. But do me a favor mothers put your phones away and concentrate on the smiles of your children they will appreciate it, as will people behind you..

Fantastic family theatre. Staff are very friendly. We had a great time watching Whatever the Weather.
Really lovely, child friendly venue. The staff are very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. There is a cosy book corner for children in the cafe. The only downside is that I found the cafe a little limited and expensive.

A lovely theatre. It was my first visit here and I wasn't disappointed. It's larger than it looks from the outside and has great facilities. The bar opened at 6.30pm (Sunday) and had a good selection of drinks available with attentive bar staff. Toilets were clean and tidy. The whole experience was great.
My first visit here. The theatre was lovely, all modern inside despite being very old on the outside. Saw Pam Ayres which was a great show and she very funny and looks no different since she started over 40 years ago. The theatre was comfortable, light and airy. Will def be going again, despite the tiny ice cream tubs being pricey at £3 each. But that is normal for theatres it seems.
